Regional Scoring
Based upon the newly released Grades 3-8 Assessment Calendar, the revised 2011-2012 Regional Scoring Calendar is posted below. Following the Winter Break, the IES team will be asking for the numbers of papers/grade level for those participating in Regional Scoring to determine the number of teachers that will be needed.
Please be sure to also review the Grades 3-8 Memorandum that was released for changes to the administration and scoring. The Updated Guide to the 2012 Grades 3-8 Testing Program will be sent via future correspondence.
Updated information related to Regional Scoring is located on the E2CCB IES Website.

Development of Interim Assessments
Three days were spent with districts regionally developing Interim Assessments in ELA. Those assessments are being formatted and will be made available to teachers via Moodle for use beginning in January. Districts are encouraged to contact their Network Team Liaisons to schedule support for analyzing those assessments utilizing their RTTT Inquiry Team dates.
Future work in developing Interim Assessments regionally will focus on developing item banks for both ELA and Math. Please be sure to visit the E2CCB Calendar for updates on these and other workshops.
Teacher Evaluation Training
Additional learning opportunities for principals and lead evaluators to hone their evaluation/observation skills and to provide additional training to meet the Lead Evaluator Certification requirements will be posted in January. Additional Network Team training occurs January 17-19 and we want to be sure that you have the most up to date information possible.
These trainings will be a combination of online and distance learning and will be scheduled after school hours to minimize the time for principals out of their buildings. Individual districts may also schedule trainings onsite using their RTTT Network Team APPR dates by contacting Theresa Gray.
