Building Interim Assessments
Sessions to lead teachers in building interim assessments to facilitate the Data Driven Instruction (DDI) model are scheduled for ELA. Dates for Mathematics will be coming. The intent of these sessions is to deconstruct the current ELA assessment, select key CCLS in ELA/Literacy to focus on and develop rigorous assessments that will assist teachers in determining student progress towards the summative assessment. All assessments that are created will be house in a regional Moodle for access by participants.
Districts may send one teacher per grade level to these sessions. Participants should be well versed with the CCLS in ELA/Literacy and have administered and/or scored the ELA assessment in their grade level.
