NYSED Updates
An update on the K-12 Social Studies was provided at the January Board of Regents Meeting, which includes the results of the survey regarding the potential of two distinct units of credit in Global Studies. This memo shares the findings and current direction of the BOR. A short powerpoint was shared as well and it has been shared with teachers via the SS Forum.
A reminder that the 2013-2014 testing schedule has been released, which is important to note given the scheduling of the 3-8 assessments to work around religious holidays.
