Welcome to the 2014-2015 School Year!!
We are excited to kick off a new year!! The RCC meetings will be facilitated by the IES Team this year and we have some great things planned!
Each meeting will have a "backchannel" to assist with note-taking and capturing the ideas and resources that are shared. IES Team members will be the main voices to capture notes but everyone is encouraged to join in!! The link for each meeting can be found on the individual meeting page and a transcript will be posted following each meeting. Backchannels as Note-Making will help everyone with how this operates to enhance our learning.
Twitter is another way to backchannel and we will use it during the meeting as well. However, Twitter can be powerful for the group in between meetings as well. We will continue to share resources and updates using #e2rcc to tag tweets relevant to this group. If you are new to Twitter, please check out this short (free!) course located on our Model Schools webpage. And be sure to follow individual team members as well!
In order to streamline the webpage and provide you with a convenient link to resources from each meeting, we have created a shared Google Drive folder which will contain resources from the meeting. We hope that this will help you organize needed documents as well as share with your colleagues. A link to each meeting will provided on the page for that month.
We will also offer optional meetings in the afternoon of each RCC meeting in order to provide a more in depth learning experience. These may be attended by the same administrators that attended the morning session or perhaps by other district representatives as relevant. Resources related to those meeting are located at the RCC in the Afternoon tab above.
